Robyn Janes founded Media Fix in 2010 after 17 years involvement in the media, working in New Zealand and overseas.

She is an award-winning journalist experienced in print, radio and television.  In 2009 she was Qantas television journalist of the year and in 1997 she was named New Zealand’s top radio journalist.

Since launching Media Fix Robyn has worked with a wide variety of clients especially in the environmental and tourism industries.

With 12 years working in television and five years as a political reporter Robyn has an extensive network of media contacts and industry experience.

Robyn loves an adventure. She has cycled from Dublin to the Sahara, rafted in Nepal, slept under the stars in the Amazon on Sir Peter Blake’s boat Seamaster and cycled, canoed and explored New Zealand.  These days life is just as busy with a lively 5-year-old and a 1960’s “do-up” overlooking Tasman Bay both demanding attention.

When Robyn was farewelled from the Close Up show in 2010 it was a rollicking look back at ten years of hairstyles, mobile phones and stories.
